The classic tale of a leather man…
It is you that failed. Not God.
So do not blame it on God.
Some things have been set in motion by God for us to take a step or act on,
But we say we wait on God.
Praying .
Fasting.
Some things do not need waiting on God for.
Just do your bit, then the manifestation of what God, the Almighty, has already put in place in us will take place.
It has never failed.
It will never fail.
And it will not fail for you. Say the Amen and Act.
Most Christians, I will say, are not who they confess to be.
Most Christians are not believers.
Believers who profess to be Christians must act Christ like.
Jesus never held on to the doctrine that “seeing is believing.”
To many Christians, that is their faith.
What is faith again, I dare ask?
According to Christ, with reference to the book of Hebrews in Chapter 11;
It is “…the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
There was never a point Christ insinuated that we must see first before we act.
How come many Christians queue to see a Pastor whom they believe has direct connections with Christ?
How come many non- believers believe in one sacrifice or the other concocted by a fellow who could do with more than the rich have, but yet, has the power to convince them the rich that his way is the right way?
How come?
The story was told of a man who specialises in making things out of leather. He was struggling, he was poor, really poor, but he had a passion and was good with leather. He was gifted.

Leather hide
So there he was, sweating, cutting leather into different sizes and shapes and sewing them together to make a thick and larger patch of leather, smooth enough to be rolled on the floor or better still, on grass.
The leather man had this dream that he could sew this patch of leather into a round shape with the possibility of it been inflated with air. The leather man had a dream.
He saw it.
He could feel it.
But how many more people could see what the leather man saw? A wave of adrenalin accompanied every needle stuck into the leather patch to make this round thing.
The leather man, after much sweat and determination completed his dream project.
He took his dream, which is now in form of a round leather patch to a wealthy man in the village for investment. You see, he needed more money to buy leather, needles and thread. But the wealthy man could not see what the leather man sees. After a lot of spit and spat which made up a conversation, the wealthy man gave the leather man an assignment.
He told him; “you see, Mr dream big, you need to organise for me an example of the event you have always had in mind where you expect this round leather thing to be kicked about by 22 sensible grown up boys. If I can see that, I will believe you, then we can talk more.”
A classic tale of seeing is believing in action.
The rest, as they say is history.
This round leather thing has produced a multi-billion pound event that employs millions of people all over the world. It has made the young and the old fabulously rich. It has given hope to many. It has become a universal sport language. It has united people and countries.
This is what many of us have inside of us, that dream, but we still wait upon God.
For God to do what?
It has been said that one of life’s greatest challenges is thinking and doing the things that ultimately matter and bring success.
A life, in which anything goes, is a life in which nothing goes.
God bless you for stopping by.

Another classic blog post Jide, at this rate the day you post a blog that does not meet your high standards, I might be forced to contact interpol Internet crime division to see if your blog has been hacked…lol. The statement below says it all about christianity and faith :-
“Jesus never held on to the doctrine that “seeing is believing.”
To many Christians, that is their faith.”
I think too many christians have this warped mindset about looking for what is not looking for them. Moreover many are not honest with themselves and delude themselves into thinking as you mentioned in a previous post that having HOPE and BELIEF ALONE WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING ON THEIR PART God will somehow say abacadabra and its done.
I once told a friend a few years ago, even a pagan with the right mindset and determination will ALWAYS BEAT a christian with little lots of HOPE AND NO ACTION!!!!!!!!
I suppose at one point or the other in everybody’s life we all fall into one category as explained in the parable of the sower.
Keep up the good work.
