If you aren’t bothered, then you must have developed some sort of immunity to the consequences resulting to the increase in lay offs at organisations. The latest is that YAHOO is sacking 5,000 of their staff.
It’s the time to start thinking outside the box. I am not saying you should quit your job, not at all. All I am suggesting is for you, if younarebalready not your boss to begin to think of other methods for money, funds to come in (in-come).
Netwo*king is one of the most inexpensive ways of having a steady in- come. Yes, it’s been bastardised. A friend, whom I shared GBG with, by the way GBG is my Network Organisation, replied with “I read it and thought the product was great, but Network Marketing is not my thing”.
I chuckled with no offence as she is a dear friend.
Networking is what we are all involved in, “for crying out loud”. It is not because there are bad reviews about the sector, should the sector be condemned. The funny thing is that, a majority of people do not know a thing about Network Marketing, but join the bandwagon.
Netw*rk marketing can be referred to as RELATIONSHIP MARKETING. That is how I view it. Anyway, read below 7 differences between a Networker and an Employee. Enjoy. 7 DIFFERENCES:
1) DETERMINE YOUR PAY.
You can’t determine what your boss or company pays you as a salary, even if you are the best, there will be some sort of negotiation. You will also be on a fixed income, with possibly some form of bonus for the very top employees. As a networker, you can set yourself some goals and determine how much you want to earn per week, month or year. It’s that simple.
2) NO RETIREMENT.
As an employee, there is a retirement age, be you the no.1 worker in the company in terms of results. If you attain the agreed retirement age, you are automatically given a hand shake with possibly a wrist watch. As a a networker, there is no such thing. In fact, the older you become in this sector, the more you are respected and sought after for your experience.
3) DETERMINE YOUR HOLIDAYS
Did you notice the plural – holiday(s)? As an employee, you will be lucky to go on one, or better still, you may be offered to the opportunity to buy back your holiday entitlement in return for more hours working for the company who pays you for your time. As a Networker, you determine your holidays, and I do not hasten to add an “s” to plural because there are several holidays taken by a Networker.Basically because you can afford to as you can work anywhere in the world with your smartphone or iPad.
4) NO BOSS
As an employee, it’s a no brainer, you have a boss watching your every move. You cross him at your own peril as your future is in her hands. On the other hand, as a Networker, you are your own boss. Period. You set the agenda for the day.
5) CHOOSE WHO YOU WORK WITH
As an employee, you are employed with a team in place. So you have no choice but to join a team, in the majority of circumstances. The possibility of encountering office politics is very high. Whereas as a Netwo*ker, you select and interview and sift those who are hungry to make a change in their lives. You choose who you work with drastically reducing any form of politics to almost a zero as you are all working towards a common goal which is to be financially free.
6) NO PENSION
As an employee, it’s probably one of the first things the employers will outline with pride – the pension plan. They has already assumed that you will be spending quite a bit of your life span nursing someone else’s business. Not that it’s a bad thing, I hasten to add. Not everybody will be an employer of labour, but a labourer, be it white collared or Blue. On the other hand, as a Networker, it’s not heard of in the sector. What is spoken of is PASSIVE INCOME. This is a circumstance where, you get paid repeatedly for an objective you have done once. Passive income is like earning a ROYALTY. These are why musicians are wealthy. They put in the hours to produce an album in the studio and get paid for it for the rest of their lives. That is Passive income guys, not a pension.
7) BED TIME
As an employee, you know that if you were not in bed at a certain time, you will be messed up the following morning.You have to work a routine inorderwards to function. It’s uncomfortable reading, but it’s a fact. A majority of people feel alive with a routine, it’s the conventional way of surviving or living. As a networker, you control your time. You own it. You decide how you spend your time, on the beach, in an hotel holding meetings,on the plane. It’s your time and you bet, you can spend it without any fear of guilt.
