Funmi Lawal, Cancer diagnosed, confirms Don Jazzy's N2m donation and says 'thank you' as she has been overwhelmed by phone calls.

Funmi, a 2011 law graduate of University of Lagos has been diagnosed with Malignant Sarcoma, Cancer which affects the supporting or connective tissues of the body. Her plight has now become desperate that she now urgently needs N4m to take care of bills. I have joined other bloggers to bring this appeal to your notice. It has been reported that top music producer Don Jazzy has donated N2m bringing the total sum donated within 24 hours to N2.3m.

I spoke with Funmi a short while ago to confirm the natureof her illness as well at the authenticity of the story. Yes I can confirm the story, and I can also confirm that Don Jazzy has paid N2m towards the appeal fund.

Soft spoke Funmi who will be going in for the Biopsy test tomorrow will also have a CT scan as well as a haemorrhage test.
