Femi, you must realise you now operate in the public arena where every single gesticulation, adjective articulated and even facial expression is scrutinised. How could you even suggest “People Complaining of Hardship Are In The Minority”? I write no more…..oh I lie….just one more thing….You need to apologise please, to the millions of Nigerians you insinuated.
The Special Assistant to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, says people who are complaining of hardship are in the minority.
Adesina reportedly said this while speaking in a telephone interview with 100.1FM Abuja.
“Yes, you need to give me the statistics of those complaining. We (government officials) are in the midst of the people and we can feel the pulse of the people. I maintain that the people who are complaining are in the minority. I can tell you that the support base of this government is still enormous. Yes, we know some people are complaining but, they are still in the minority” he said.
Seems Nigeria’s President and his spokesman are always speaking in different languages, only few days ago, President Muhammadu Buhari while felicitating with Nigerians on the occasion of the 2016 Eid El Fitr acknowledged the hardship the people are facing.
In a statement Tuesday, the president thanked Nigerians for their sacrifices, and promised “better days ahead”.
Buhari said, “I am not unaware of what Nigerians are going through and I want to use this medium to commend the amazing sacrifices of Nigerians in the face of the temporary economic and social challenges and also reassure Nigerians that my administration is working assiduously towards providing basic needs and other amenities.
